The PM logs expenses throughout the week. At the end of the week, the manager opens the review screen, which shows every submitted expense grouped by project and phase. The manager approves, reassigns, flags, or rejects each one. Once reviewed, the manager closes the week — this generates a settlement summary showing total approved expenses, labor costs, and the split between Amex charges and wire reimbursements. The manager then records the wire transfer (amount, date, reference) outside of BLT, then enters that payment record in BLT to mark the settlement as paid and lock the week.

Your data is always yours. If you downgrade from Builder to Starter, your existing projects remain accessible in read-only mode — you just can't create new projects beyond the one-project limit until you're back on a paid plan. If you cancel entirely, you have 30 days to export all your data (expenses, budget history, photos, reports) as CSV and media archives before the account is deactivated. We don't hold your data hostage.
